You Know You're A Mama When...

You know you're a mama when you are awake at any hour of the day and it seems normal, not a surprise or bother.

You know you're a mama when you find it normal to finish someone else's food for them (a child most likely!).

You know you're a mama when you sway side to side even when you are not holding a child.

You know you're a mama when you know every location of every nearby park or playground.

You know you're a mama when you start having a recognizable list of cartoon characters and the shows they represent.

You know you're a mama when the letter "A" and "B" and "C" no longer stand for the vitamins you take but for "apple", "ball", and "cat" (or any other correlating noun within the present moment).

You know you're a mama when all of the breakable items in your home start finding higher and higher places on the shelves.

You know you're a mama when you are vacuuming the carpet every day rather than once a week.

You know you're a mama when you almost pee on yourself as you barely make it to the bathroom while still hugging someone (again, a child most likely!).
