Happy, Blessed New Year!
Me and my family were on the beach an hour before we changed over from 2012 to 2013! The beach, yes, the beach! I have never experienced breaking in the new year, outdoors for one, let alone on a beach in 70 degree weather!
All except one or two of my new year celebrations were spent in Minnesota - in the snow, in the cold, inside. There is something definitely different for this Minnesotan moving to Miami! And I am sure there are more celebrations like that one around the corner.
Even on that note of weather: I have never taken more walks in the winter time, dressed only in flip flops and shorts!
