God has created such a vast variety of foods for us to eat. It is our responsibility to teach the little ones the joy of eating! From the orange cantaloupe they are eating above to the off-white vanilla ice cream that Isaiah loves indulging in to the dark brown richness of ground beef to the vibrant green tones of snap peas - God has intend for us to find the joy in the flavors, textures, and benefits of each one. Just like anything in life, if we stay with only a few things, life can become bland and boring. Include a variety, and life becomes alive and exciting. Let's lead the little ones in being joyful and thankful in their eating!
"Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:11-12
"The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes." Psalm 19:8
